FOX has released the synopsis for the upcoming eighth episode of 9-1-1‘s fifth season, “Defend in Place.” The episode will replace “Past is Prologue,” which is now expected to premiere on Monday, November 29. The new episode will see the 118 race to a hospital explosion where David is performing surgery.
The full synopsis for “Defend in Place” reads:
“Bobby and the 118 race to save lives after an explosion rocks the hospital where Dr. David Hale (guest star La Monde Byrd) is performing surgery. Meanwhile, Michael makes a life-changing decision.”
Guest cast for “Defend in Place” include La Monde Byrd as Dr. David Hale; Anirudh Pisharody as Ravi; Megan West as Taylor Kelly; and Marsha Warfield as Antonia “Toni” Wilson.
“Defend in Place” airs Monday, November 15 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on FOX, streaming immediately after on the FOX NOW app and the following day on Hulu. Stay tuned for images from the episode here!
