Aimee Garcia and Freddie Prinze Jr. To Star in Romantic Comedy

Aimee Garcia and Freddie Prinze Jr. are set to star in an untitled holiday romantic comedy on Netflix.

Directed by  Gabriela Tagliavini, the film follows a burnt-out pop star Angelina. She puts life on pause to make a young fan’s wish come true. On her trip to New York, she surprises more than just her fan — she uncovers the inspiration to reinvent herself and true love.

Garcia recently wrapped up her role as Ella Lopez on Lucifer. Prinze Jr., perhaps most notably known for his roles as Fred in Scooby-Doo and Zack Siler in She’s All That, recently starred in the Punky Brewster reboot and an episode of Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
