‘Walker’ Series: Fans Answer Questions About Favorite Episodes

Welcome to our Walker series! We’ve partnered with our friends at Walker Wiki to bring you an interactive series leading up to the second season premiere of Walker, which airs on October 28.

We asked for input from fans of the show and had them answer questions. We had a great turnout, with many fans wanting to share their favorites and their stories. In this first part, we started out easy and asked for fans to share their favorite episode from the first season.

Let’s go!

Episode 1 – “Pilot”

Jennifer – “The pilot. It’s a little rough … but I was so happy for Jared to have his own show close to home.”

Kirsten – “The pilot has to be my favorite because it’ll be the episode I’ll never forget and the start of my new journey with these characters.”

Episode 2 – “Back in the Saddle”

Episode 3 – “Bobble Head”

Andrea – “I liked the flashbacks.”

Episode 4 – “Don’t Fence Me In”

Episode 5 – “Duke”

Jenni – “It gave us so much insight into Cordell’s backstory in a beautiful way.”

Shannon – “We were introduced to yet another type of character Jared can play, and he did it so effortlessly.”

Merle – “Cordell is hot, Duke is hotter. Also: wet!Jared, shirtless!Jared, emotional brothers hug, Micki on a bull, angst, and drama!”

Sami – “We got to see Jared as Walker playing a different role and how it affected him.”

Jani – “Jared essentially played two roles to perfection.”

Nancy – “I loved the undercover [scenes and would] love to see it more.”

Hadia – “I loved seeing Cordell going undercover and seeing Jared play that role.”

Episode 6 – “Bar None”

Episode 7 – “Tracks”

Anna – “Everyone gave tremendous performances, and it had a great balance of action but also fun moments.”

Episode 8 – “Fine Is A Four Letter Word”

Ali – “It was a dynamic episode with good action. The music was perfect and we got great Bonham/Abeline quotes. Cordell, Trey, and Micki scenes are always the best and it handled mental health very well.”

Episode 9 – “Rule Number 17”

Alej – “We got to see Cordi’s grief.”

Episode 12 – “A Tale of Two Families”

Nancy – “The insight into how Emily’s death affected everyone helped me understand the characters better.”

Episode 13 – “Defend the Ranch”

Gin – “Amazing drama and heartbreak plus hero Liam.”

Helen – “[Cordell] fighting for his family regardless of consequences. Stella and Augie saving Liam. Liam saving [Cordell].”

Zosia – “Very intense! My favourite moment was when an injured Liam appeared on the porch and shot Clint.”

Korp – “Defend The Ranch, because of the abundance of drama, and emotion.”

Mathilde – “it was packed with action and also very emotional and tragic.”

Episode 14 – “Mehar’s Jacket”

Sam – “It’s just very bittersweet, and it’s when I got completely drawn into the show. I loved it before, but that episode really resonated and stuck with me. Also, alpacas.”

Episode 18 – “Drive”

Cris – “It gave me lots of drama, gorgeous shots, and a sneaky cliffhanger that got me super pumped for S2!”

Lindsay – “The ending with the camera and finding out someone had bugged the walker household was interesting.”

Laura – “The cliffhanger of what Stan whispered to Cordell.”

Lauren – “We finally got learn what exactly happened the night Emily died and the Walker family was able to get some closure.”

Alejandra – “Cordell and his family knew everything that happened to Emily.”

ThomasRay – “Because to me it’s the ultimate example of storytelling at its finest.”
