‘Star Wars: The Bad Batch’ Renewed for Season 2

With the finale of The Bad Batch next week, fans of the Star Wars animated series were wondering if Clone Force 99 would be back. And the answer is yes!

Disney announced today that the show will be back in 2022 for a second season.

Dave Filoni, executive producer, said about the renewal of the show:

“The entire Lucasfilm Animation team and I would like to thank Disney+ and our fans for the opportunity to continue telling the story of the Bad Batch”

Star Wars: The Bad Batch follows a team of defective clones after the fall of the Republic and the start of the Empire. Clone Force 99, composed of Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, Crosshair and Tech, was first introduced during season seven of The Clone Wars.

The first episode of the two-part finale of season one will be available to stream at midnight PST on Disney+.

The last two episodes of Star Wars: The Bad Batch‘s season 1 will be released on August 6 and August 13.
