In honor of Captain Picard Day, Paramount+ has shared a new teaser of the upcoming season of Star Trek: Picard. A few months ago, on First Contact Day, Star Trek fans were notified that Q (John de Lancie) would indeed make an appearance in the season, and that promo gives a first look at his face off with Jean-Luc.
Q is a long standing Star Trek character, first introduced in Star Trek: The Next Generation. Over the years, he has popped in and out of the show, and he’s appeared in a number of other shows including Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, and Star Trek: Lower Decks.
Season 2 of Star Trek: Picard will release in 2022.
