It was almost a clean sweep! WandaVision has won its fourth and final award for Best Show at the MTV Movie and TV Awards!

Nominated for five, WandaVision took home four golden popcorns for Best Performance in a Show for Elizabeth Olsen, Best Fight: Wanda vs. Agatha, Best Villain, and Best Show. The only category they lost went to their Marvel counterpart, with Anthony Mackie beating out Teyonah Parris for Best Hero. It won Best Show against The Boys, Bridgerton, Cobra Kai, and Emily in Paris.

WandaVision launched Marvel’s Phase 4, and it did it with an unconventional approach and fresh new take on the superhero genre. Focusing on Wanda Maximoff and her grief, the show delved into the emotions of the characters instead of relying on a classic villain (although Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha was indeed quite sinister as well).

The show was first considered a risk due to its veer off from the usual format, but audiences were smitten with the quirky couple and the mystery of Westview, making WandaVision an immediate hit.

It starred Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, Paul Bettany as Vision, Kathryn Hahn as Agnes/Agatha Harkness, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, and Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis.

Elizabeth Olsen will be reprising her role as Wanda Maximoff in the upcoming sequel to Doctor Strange, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which recently wrapped filming in London.

WandaVision is currently streaming in its entirety exclusively on Disney+.
