TELEVISIONABCWATCH: Max Minghella Talks 'Spiral: From the Book of Saw', Growing up...

Spiral: From the Book of Saw is gearing up to release this weekend, and Max Minghella, who plays William Schenk in the movie, joined Jimmy Kimmel last night to discuss the film, a case of mistaken identity, and more.

During the interview, Minghella talks a little bit about what it was like to grow up around film and his enthusiasm for the box office. He then explains filming Spiral and The Handmaid’s Tale in Toronto and how he would get mistaken for a cast member from Shadowhunters (which led to some quality perks). Finally, Minghella describes what surprised him about the Spiral script and his experience meeting Chris Rock.

Spiral: From the Book of Saw is the ninth installment in the Saw franchise. It follows Detective Zeke Banks (Chris Rock) as he joins forces with William and esteemed police veteran Marcus (Samuel L. Jackson) to track a serial killer wreaking havoc on the city, echoing its gruesome past. Soon, Zeke finds himself caught in the middle of the killer’s game. Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, Saw III, Saw IV) returns to direct the film written by Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger.
