New Stills for ‘Prodigal Son’ Season 2 Finale Released

New stills for the season 2 finale of Prodigal Son have been released following the sad news that FOX has decided not to renew the show for a third season. While fans (including everyone here at Nerds and Beyond) are saddened by the news, we’re sure the season finale is going to be just as wild a ride and a nail biter as season 1 to send the show off with a bang. The synopsis for season 2, episode 13, “The Last Weekend” reads:

The search for a serial killer known as “The Woodsman” might help the NYPD find one of their own.

The new images give away very little of what’s to come for our favorite profiler, the NYPD team, and his family but we do get a glimpse of each of them seemingly in their element. Check them out below.

“The Last Weekend” will air Tuesday, May 18 on FOX at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT. Fans have also begun a petition to save the show which you can read about here.
