‘Why Women Kill’ Season 2 Receives Premiere Date

Paramount+ has revealed that season 2 of Marc Cherry’s Why Women Kill will release June 3. Much like the first season, it will consist of a 10 episode season that will stream to Paramount+ to subscribers every Thursday.

The second season of the anthology series will feature a fresh cast and new storylines set in 1949. It will explore the idea of beauty, the truth behind the facades people present, the effects of being ignored and overlooked, and the lengths one woman will go to just to belong.

Season 2 of Why Women Kill stars Allison Tolman, Lana Parilla, B.K. Cannon, Jordane Christie, Matthew Daddario, Veronica Falcón, and Nick Frost.

Why Women Kill examines how women’s roles may have changed over the decades, but their reaction to betrayal has not. The successful first season followed three women in different decades: the 60s, 80s, and 2019 — each of them dealing with infidelity in their marriages. It starred Lucy Liu, Ginnifer Goodwin, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Alexandra Daddario, Leo Howard, and more.

Ahead of the season 2 premiere, catch up on the first season on Paramount+.
