Mark Hamill Joins Bert Kreischer in ‘The Machine’

Just yesterday, comedian Bert Kreischer and actor Mark Hamill both announced new projects. And they happen to be the same one.

Hamill, of course, is best known for his role in Star Wars as the Jedi Luke Skywalker. Kreischer, now the co-host of multiple podcasts including 2 Bears, 1 Cave with fellow standup comedian Tom Segura, skyrocketed to fame as a standup comedian following the telling of his hit viral story of some drunken college antics. And that’s what the film is based on.

The Machine will see Kreischer and his father (Hamill) kidnapped by the ones Bert wronged in college on his semester abroad in Russia 20 years later. You can watch the standup retelling the original events on Netflix.

The film is set to begin filming in Serbia soon. Burnt Krystals, Mark Hamill, and Millie and Mabel are enroute!
