A New Serial Killer Is On the Loose in Promo for ‘Riverdale’ Season 5, Episode 9 “Chapter Eighty-Five: Destroyer”
In this week’s episode of Riverdale, Betty and Alice continued their search for Polly as more bodies kept popping up in Swedlow Swamp. Once they thought they finally found her as Polly had called, scared, from a payphone, they were too late. All they found was a smashed and bloodied payphone. The CW has released the promo for next week’s episode, “Chapter Eighty-Five: Destroyer,” and Betty would be damned if she let more girls go missing.

Someone is kidnapping, torturing and murdering women and it’s just pure evil, Betty says in the promo. Cocking a gun, Betty says in the background she’ll be damned if she lets it happen to anyone else. Just who is doing all this and are they related to the Trash Bag Killer?
