Nicole Maines (Supergirl) and Camrus Johnson (Batwoman) are about to add another accomplishment to their resumes: comic book authors! The two stars will each introduce their characters to the DC Comics world in new stories this year.
Maines’ character Nia Nal/Dreamer was an original creation for Supergirl, and Maines will debut the character in the comics in the new volume DC Pride. DC Pride will be an 80 page anthology story highlighting LGBTQIA+ characters from DC Comics. Dreamer will have her own eight page section of the anthology, which will be released on June 8. The DC Pride initiative will also include exclusive variant covers of popular comics, with the many covers available to preview here.
