The latest teaser trailer for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier has landed, and it continues to set the stage for the current state of the relationship between Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson and Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes.
From the time they first met in Captain America: The Winter Soldier up through the last time we saw them on-screen together in Avengers: Endgame, the two pals of Captain America never quite became close friends themselves. However, that will all have to change in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. This 6-episode miniseries will put both Sam and Bucky to the test as they embark on a global adventure, testing both their skills and their patience. If they want to succeed, they’ll have to learn to work together.
This epic team-up certainly won’t be without its fair share of banter. Much of the preview footage for the series thus far has focused on exemplifying their exasperation with one another — even in the middle of a harrowing mission. In the latest teaser clip, Bucky and Sam come to the conclusion that if they’re not a team, then they must be … coworkers.
