Mandy Patinkin Joins the Fifth Season of ‘The Good Fight’ on Paramount+

Mandy Patinkin is a household name, with iconic roles such as Inigo Montoya in The Princess Bride, Jason Gideon in Criminal Minds, and a slew of other credits, including his Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning performance in Chicago Hope. It was recently revealed that Patinkin will be joining season 5 of The Good Fight, available on Paramount+.

In season 4, viewers were left with the storyline of the firm being taken over by large, multi-national firm STR Laurie, becoming a small subsidiary as a result of losing Chumhum, their biggest client. STR Laurie may have started out seeming alright, but as time went on, it was revealed things might not be as well off as they initally seemed. Additionally, Lockhart and Co. are still investigating the mysterious case of “Memo 618.”

Patinkin will be taking on the role of Hal Wackner, “a layman with no legal training who spontaneously decides to open a court in the back of a copy shop.” While Hal may not have any true legal power, the team at Reddick, Boseman & Lockhart find themselves dealing with the court of public opinion when the spectacle catches on among the public.

We can’t wait to see how Patinkin’s talents bring even more to the table of this wonderful show!
