How Paul Bettany Hilariously Trolled an Entire Fandom With ‘WandaVision’

Don’t ever say Paul Bettany can’t keep a secret and also somehow send millions of people into a spiral at the same time.

For weeks, fans of WandaVision have dwelled on a quote from a press junket with Esquire — and now we have an answer.

“There is one character that has not been revealed. And it is very exciting. It is an actor I’ve longed to work with all of my life. We have some amazing scenes together and I think the chemistry between us is extraordinary and fireworks on set.”

All along it’s been Paul Bettany talking about … Paul Bettany. In a move only fit for a true Trolling King, Paul Bettany proved worthy of holding this title.

When White Vision was revealed in the mid-credits scene of episode 8, things came into focus on just who this mysterious cameo actor was, and while it was not what we were expecting, Paul didn’t lie; Paul Bettany had yet to appear on screen with Paul Bettany … until now.

Well done Paul, you got us. And we love you for it.
