‘WandaVision’ Takes Home Multiple Critics Choice Super Awards
WandaVision was Marvel’s first show of phase four, and it’s safe to say it’s been a success. At the Critics Choice Super Awards the show walked away with three amazing wins!
This award ceremony showcases the best in films and television, and focuses more on fan favorites. On the television side of things two series tied with the most wins of three each, WandaVision and Squid Game. WandaVision walked away with some of the major categories.
- Best Superhero Series – WandaVision
- Best Actress In A Superhero Series – Elizabeth Olsen (Wanda Maximoff)
- Best Villain In A Series – Kathryn Hahn (Agatha Harkness)
Kathryn Hahn recorded her acceptance speech in advanced, “Thank you so much for the honor. This is a dream that I did not know that I had, fulfilled. . . I want to thank Marvel, too, for all of it, for just changing my life.” Hahn continued with some words for her co-star and fans. “And for Lizzie Olsen, I’m sending this from the back of this enormous black car, feeling very villainous vibes. . .Take care, stay sane and healthy, and use your villainous vibes for good, please!”
Elizabeth Olsen’s work as Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, has been accepted by most fans with praise. Her work on WandaVision is truly amazing and the Best Actress in a Superhero Series is well deserved. Fans will have to wait to see what the future holds for Olsen’s Scarlet Witch until Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness releases on May 6th.
