The 46th Annual Saturn Award nominations have been announced, brought together by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror Films, the awards honor the best in film, television, home entertainment, and theater. This year, Bill & Ted Face the Music has been nominated for two awards!

The film itself was nominated in the Best Fantasy Film Release category and Bill Corso, Dennis Liddiard, Stephen Kelly, and Bianca Appice were nominated for the Best Film Make-Up award.

Bill & Ted Face the Music sees the return of Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (Keanu Reeves) who are now middle-aged fathers to their daughters Billie (Brigette Lundy-Paine) and Thea (Samara Weaving). They still have yet to write the song that will unite and save the world, and much like Excellent Adventure, the duo is visited by an emissary from the future — Rufus’ daughter, Kelly (Kristen Schaal). The pair decide to travel forward this time to take the song from themselves and must visit many different universes and iterations of themselves to find the right one.

An awards ceremony is expected to be held sometime later this year.
