‘Riverdale’ Nominated for the 2022 Saturn Awards
Nominations have been announced for the 2022 Saturn Awards, the 50th anniversary edition of the event, as revealed exclusively by Deadline. The CW drama Riverdale has nabbed a nomination for its second-to-last season!
Riverdale is nominated for Fantasy Television Series: Network/Cable, with other contenders in the category being fellow CW series DC’s Stargirl, BBC America’s Doctor Who, CBS freshman comedy Ghosts, La Brea on NBC, and Shining Vale on Starz.
The sixth season of Riverdale was nothing short of fantasy and crazy. The series took fans to a parallel universe, gave the main characters superpowers, and even took them back in time in the cliffhanger finale, setting up what will likely be an insane seventh and final season.
Winners for the 2022 Saturn Awards will be revealed on October 25, with the event streaming live on ElectricNOW. Watch all six seasons of Riverdale now on Netflix, with season 7 premiering midseason 2023 on The CW. Check out our other coverage on the series here.
