It’s a sad day for Arrow fans.

In Arrow‘s final season last January, the episode “Green Arrow and the Canaries” was set to serve as a backdoor pilot for the spinoff of the same name centered around Mia Queen’s life circa 2040 when Laurel Lance and Dinah Drake make a sudden reappearance in her life. Unfortunately, after a year of waiting, it was confirmed that The CW will not be moving forward with this project according to Deadline.

Though this spinoff may not be coming to fruition, Arrow‘s legacy still lives on in multiple other CWverse superhero shows including The FlashLegends of Tomorrow, and the newest CWverse venture Superman & Lois.
