With FOX’s first responder dramas 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star returning in just two weeks, the network has announced a premiere date for the highly-anticipated crossover between the two shows. The Wrap exclusively learned that the event will take place on Monday, February 1 and will be the third episodes of both season 4 of 9-1-1 and season 2 of Lone Star.
The crossover will start with 9-1-1 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT and continuing into Lone Star the following hour, with that episode, titled “Hold the Line,” containing most of the crossover. According to FOX, Hen, Buck and Eddie will be traveling from their Los Angeles firehouse 118 to help out the members of the 126 in Austin as they fight a massive wildfire. Fans should expect favorites from 9-1-1 and Lone Star to be paired off together during the crossover, with most hoping for a scene or two between Buck and Eddie from 9-1-1 with T.K. and Carlos from Lone Star.
Official news of the crossover first came in November when showrunner Tim Minear surprised fans on Twitter with a first look where Buck and Eddie were standing next to T.K. and Marjan. Cast members from both 9-1-1 and Lone Star have been sharing behind-the-scenes photos from set during the crossover over the last couple of months, expressing their excitement that the shows will finally be crossing over.
Season 4 of 9-1-1 premieres on Monday, January 18 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on FOX, followed by the season 2 premiere of 9-1-1: Lone Star. Catch the big crossover event starting Monday, February 1 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT!
