Everyone’s favorite member of the Weird Sisters on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is trading her future-telling powers for the white picket fence living as Joe and Love’s neighbor in the Netflix original YOU. Gabrielle is among the new castings for this season and will play Marienne who, by Netflix’s official description of her character, is “a smart, no-nonsense librarian who doesn’t let much get by her.” But underneath, she hides personal struggles from the world — just wanting to create a better life for herself and her child.

In addition to Gabrielle’s casting, Dylan Arnold (Halloween, Nashville) has been cast to play Theo, a college student who has a strained relationship at home. Theo’s dual personality lands him in trouble when he takes on his loved ones problems and uses substances to control his own.

Michaela McManus (The Village, Aquarius) is set to play Natalie who is Joe’s new neighbor — and the object of his unrelenting fascinations. Natalie, although married to a powerful man, is also successful socially and professionally in her own right.

The series, based on Caroline Kepnes’ best-selling books (You, Hidden Bodies), follows Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) — a dangerously charming yet obsessive man who goes to great lengths to insert himself into the lives of various women. In the first season, it was Guinevere Beck. But in the second season, which premiered in December of last year, Joe has moved to Los Angeles and goes by the name Will Bettelheim. Joe quickly turns his attention towards Love (Victoria Pedretti) and inevitably falls for her.

With the announcement of the castings, it has also been announced that Saffron Burrows who plays Love’s mother, Dottie, has been upped to a series regular. Season 3 of the show recently began production after announcing the upcoming season earlier this year.
