Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge-Storytelling through Merchandise goes through the basic premise of the park and how some of the merchandise came about. The merch teams worked closely with some of the film crews to make sure that the products fit together with the many interactions in the parks. Some of the toys that are available are even replicas of toys that are seen in the movies.
The popularity of the parks has prompted the designers to add even more options to the Lightsaber selection. They recently added Count Dooku’s Lightsaber hilt as a choice for designing one of the Legacy Lightsabers as well as a color-changing Lightsaber hilt. There are more choices to be added throughout 2021. D23 Gold Members will be able to purchase Luke’s, Ben Solo’s, and the Skywalker Lightsaber hilts before anyone else. The pre-orders begin on Thursday, November 19.
Another addition is a new droid similar to the famous BB-8: the CB-23 unit. This new droid has a personality chip that is exclusive to this unit.
You don’t even have to travel to the Disney parks to get a piece of Star Wars merch. There are new plushes of The Child, Boba Fett, and Maz Kanata available on the shopDisney online store.
