Ethan Hawke, Peter Sarsgaard, Riley Keough, David Castañeda, and More Join Cast of Netflix Drama ‘The Guilty’
Netflix’s upcoming dramatic thriller The Guilty, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, has announced a large and exciting list of additions to its cast.
Joining Gyllenhaal will be Ethan Hawke (Boyhood), Peter Sarsgaard (Jarhead), Riley Keough (The Devil All The Time), David Castañeda (The Umbrella Academy), Byron Bowers (Honey Boy), Da’Vine Joy Randolph (Dolemite Is My Name), Christina Vidal (United We Fall), Paul Dano (There Will be Blood), Adrian Martinez (Stumptown), Bill Burr (The King of Staten Island), Beau Knapp (Southpaw), and Edi Patterson (The Righteous Gemstones).
Directed by Antoine Fuqua with a screenplay by Nic Pizzolatto, The Guilty is based on Gustav Möller’s 2018 Danish crime drama — also known as Den skyldige. As per IMDb, the story follows a demoted police officer assigned to a call dispatch desk, who is conflicted when he receives an emergency phone call from a kidnapped woman.
