Zazie Beetz Joins Sony’s ‘Bullet Train’
Deadline has reported that Zazie Beetz (Joker, Atlanta) is boarding the star studded Bullet Train!
Although characters and the plot of the movie are being kept mostly under wraps for now, the film will follow the Japanese novel Maria Beetle by Kotaro Isaka. The synopsis of the book follows five assassins who “find themselves on a fast-moving bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka with only a few stops in between. They discover their missions are not unrelated to each other. The question becomes who will make it off the train alive and what awaits them at the terminal station?”
Beetz joins Brad Pitt, Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, and Andrew Koji. David Leitch will direct with a script written by Zak Olkewicz.
