The Love, Victor cast just keeps getting better and better. Deadline has announced that Ava Capri (Blast Beat) and Anthony Keyvan (Alexa & Katie) will join the upcoming season 2 in recurring roles.

Capri is set to play “a cool free-spirit” who’s one of Benji’s close friends. Keyvan will play an enthusiastic LGBTQ+ student at Creekwood high who’s just begun his journey with coming out. Capri and Keyvan join Betsy Brandt as newcomers to the series. Though we still won’t know too much about the characters until we get to watch them thrive on screen, it’s likely they’ll become an integral part of the main characters’ stories and potentially join Victor’s circle of friends.

Love, Victor follows Victor Salazar, a new student at Creekwood High adjusting to a new city, his parents’ rocky marriage, and his sexual identity. It’s set in the same universe as the film Love, Simon, based on the book by Becky Albertalli. The show also stars Michael Cimino, George Sear, Anthony Turpel, Bebe Wood, Rachel Hilson, Mason Gooding, Ana Ortiz, Isabella Ferreira, James Martinez, and Mateo Fernandez. It was created by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger.

There is currently no release date for season 2, but the cast has confirmed that filming is underway. Find more of our Love, Victor coverage here, and watch season 1 now exclusively on Hulu.
