Original Short ‘Once Upon a Snowman’ Coming to Disney+ October 23

Everyone’s favorite snowman is getting his very own origin story! The short film, Once Upon a Snowman, tells the story of Frozen‘s Olaf and the Disney+ website explains that the film “follows Olaf’s first steps as he comes to life and searches for his identity in the snowy mountains outside Arendelle.”

A new trailer for the short was released featuring moments from the first Frozen film such as Elsa (Idina Menzel) singing “Let it Go”, and Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and Anna (Kristen Bell) as they set out on their journey to look for Elsa. But, we get to see new moments as we focus on Olaf (Josh Gad) after Elsa creates him and brings him to life. His origin story is all about his journey to find his place in the world.

Once Upon a Snowman will be available to stream on Disney+ on Friday, October 23. You can check out the official trailer below!
