Tune-In-Reminder: Season Two of ‘Eli Roth’s History of Horror’ Premieres Saturday!

Eli Roth’s History of Horror takes an in-depth look at the history and pop culture of horror. Join writer and producer Eli Roth, along with some of the Masters of Horror, who helped shape the genre into what it is today. Join names like Jamie Lee Curtis, Jordan Peele, and Steven King as they discuss the evolution of horror and the inspiration behind some of the most iconic moments in horror history.

Season two of AMC’s Eli Roth’s History of Horror returns Saturday, October 10. The premiere episode is titled “Houses of Hell.” They always say home is where the heart is, right? Unless you are living in a house of hell. Not all homes are full of comfort and love. This premiere episode will pick apart the illusions of our idea of home.

This season’s fans will get to dive even deeper into the thrills and chills of horror, discussing landmark films and cult classics while dissecting recent horror cinema. Season two will also allow viewers to explore the fun and excitement of scary movies, the craft that goes into making them, and the ways horror films reflect the anxieties and social situations of their times.

Eli Roth’s History of Horror is told by Eli Roth, along with a cast of writers, directors, actors, composers, and special effect artists who help bring the genre to life. The interviewees will include Stephen King, Quentin Tarantino, Jordan Peele, Ari Aster, Bill Hader, Nancy Allen, Megan Fox, Greg Nicotero, Rob Zombie, James Brolin, Edgar Wright, Piper Laurie, Leonard Maltin, Katharine Isabelle, Jack Black, Slash, Rachel True, Ashley Laurence, Joe Dante, Roger Corman, Mary Harron, John Landis, Tom Savini, and Karyn Kusama, plus so many more!

Season two will have six episodes each an hour long. Eli Roth’s History of Horror returns to AMC Saturday, October 10, at 10 p.m. ET/ 9 p.m. CT.
