It may be the end of an era for DC Universe as we know it, but the platform is not gone for good. All current original content made for the streaming service — Young Justice, Titans, Doom Patrol, season 1 of Stargirl, and Harley Quinn, just renewed for a season 3 will head to HBO Max, transitioning into Max Original series going forward.

The newly revamped and rebranded DC Universe Infinite will launch in January, and will offer DC catalog titles six months after their on-sale date (the wait of which is currently a year!) Alongside the catalog titles, subscribers will also have the opportunity to view digital-first titles early, including: DCeased: Hope at World’s End, Harley Quinn: Black + White + Red, and Injustice: Year Zero. That’s not all, though — the service will also debut DC Universe Infinite Originals, new exclusive content created specifically for the platform and a fan community available for all subscribers. And if that wasn’t enough to convince you, all current DC Universe subscriptions will transfer over to DC Universe Infinite.

DC Universe Infinite is set to launch in the US on January 21, 2021 with a global expansion set for the summer.
