Max’s Doom Patrol has finally got a release date for the second half of its final season. The beloved, wacky DC show will return to screens on Thursday, October 12.

Max also confirmed the release schedule for the remaining episodes of the show, saying they will drop two episodes on October 12, then one per week through November 9.

Doom Patrol‘s mid-season logline has also been released:

In the series’ gripping final episodes, the Doom Patrol meet old friends and foes as they race to defeat Immortus and get back their longevities. Battling between saving the world and each other, the Doom Patrol are forced to face their deepest fears and decide if they are ready to let go of the past in order to take the future into their own hands… and away from the zombie butts.

Doom Patrol reimagines one of DC’s most beloved groups of superheroes: “Robotman” aka Cliff Steele (Brendan Fraser), “Negative Man” aka Larry Trainor (Matt Bomer), “Elasti-Woman” aka Rita Farr (April Bowlby), “Crazy Jane” (Diane Guerrero), “Cyborg” aka Victor Stone (Joivan Wade), joined by former super-villain “Madame Rouge” aka Laura de Mille (Michelle Gomez). The Max Original is produced by Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. Showrunner Jeremy Carver executive produces alongside Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Chris Dingess, and Tamara Becher-Wilkinson.

The first half of Doom Patrol‘s final season left fans on a dramatic cliffhanger, with the somewhat belligerent gang of misfits in Orquith, an eerie pocket dimension, surrounded by bones and with their longevity being stolen by Immortus.
