Ryan Murphy’s much anticipated new project for Netflix, The Prom, has finally been given a release date of December 11!

The film, based on the 2018 Broadway production of the same title, is Murphy’s first project under his new deal with Netflix and has an all star cast including Meryl Streep, James Corden, Nicole Kidman, Keegan-Michael Key, Andrew Rannells, Ariana DeBose, and Kerry Washington. With this cast and Murphy directing the film is sure to be worth a watch. As Murphy stated in his release date announcement, this film will take you to The Prom that this year didn’t have.
