ReedPop’s C2E2 in Chicago was one of the last conventions to take place in the year of disaster 2020. Two of the guests featured at that convention were stars of the Netflix hit series The Umbrella Academy — Robert Sheehan (Klaus Hargreeves) and Emmy Raver-Lampman (Allison Hargreeves).
The Umbrella Academy was a surprise hit, even to the stars, and they discuss what it was like to hear of the success of their show after season 1 debuted, how they prepped for their roles, and what they do at the start of a day of filming to get ready to break into the heads of Klaus and Allison. Emmy breaks down how her and Tom Hopper (Luther Hargreeves) filmed that incredible dance scene, and Robert may or may not have walked around London pretending to be Klaus in preparation for the role. Plus, they chat about the incredible music featured in the first season.
