Jake Abel Takes Us Behind the Scenes of ‘Bravelecki’ in ‘The Making of: Bravelecki’

Just days after the release of his most recent short film, Bravelecki, director, writer, cinematographer, producer, editor, camera operator and 1st and 2nd assistant director Jake Abel has now released a behind-the-scenes look into the creation of the film. The Making of: Bravelecki with directors commentary from Abel himself, is a 3-minute look at how the 1-minute long film achieved its impressive effects. In the video Abel explains how Jared Padalecki was able to throw that large piece of driftwood at a great distance (spoiler alert: he wasn’t able to), and how editing and stunts were used throughout the film.

Bravelecki stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles as Sam and Dean Wallace, the Driftwood as Caber, and Rob Benedict as Impressed Guy.
