Crunchyroll has just released a clip from the new behind the scenes documentary of The God of High School which features a presidential character inspired by the Robert Downey Jr. version of Tony Stark. The full documentary, which will take viewers into the MAPPA studios, will premiere on July 20 at 8 a.m (PT) on Crunchyroll and on their YouTube channel here. The documentary will also let the viewers meet original WEBTOON creator Yongje Park and the team behind the latest Crunchyroll Original series.

Both the director and creator of The God of High School are big Marvel fans, and director Sunghoo Park even has the tattoo to prove it. The Tony Stark inspired character is voiced by Keiji Fujiwara who is the same actor that voiced Iron Man in Japan. You may also know Fujiwara from his other roles in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Hajime no Ippo, Hunter x Hunter and the Kingdom Hearts series.

The God of High School is an action packed series. It follows a high schooler and his friends as they all compete in an epic tournament while borrowing power directly from the gods. They also manage to uncover a mysterious organization along their way. All with the promise of their deepest heart’s desire motivating them towards tournament victory.

The first two episodes of this anime are on the Crunchyroll site here.
