With Epcot reopening on July 15, many people have been wondering whether Epcot’s famous festivals would be going ahead this year due to the implementation of social distancing policies. We have great news for you festival fans! Disney has announced that “A Taste of Epcot International Food & Wine Festival” will be starting July 15 as Epcot reopens.

This festival will be a modified version of the regular International Food & Wine Festival that usually takes place from August. The festival will offer 20 signature global marketplaces, spaced around the park. The marketplaces (including Hawaii, Hops & Barley, and Islands of the Caribbean) will allow you to try different cuisines from around the world. The festival will also see the return of “Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak Scavenger Hunt,” where you can find hidden Remy figures in the park in order to win a prize.

Unfortunately, the popular “Eat to the Beat Concert Series” will not be going ahead due to issues with physical distancing. However, there will still be plenty of musical entertainment including Mariachi Cobre and the JAMMitors, so that you can still enjoy a performance whilst you eat.

The festival will also incorporate a few elements of the International Flower & Garden Festival which opened shortly before the parks closed due to COVID-19. You will be able to see the new Remy topiary in the France pavilion and Flower & Garden merchandise will also be available. Merchandise for the Food & Wine Festival will be released later into the festival.

“A Taste of Epcot International Food & Wine Festival” will be the longest festival yet and will continue through the fall. Make sure you head over to Epcot to check it out!
