Second Wave of Virtual Guests Announced for Armageddon Expo

Since having to postpone the convention due to the COVID-19 breakout, New Zealand is having their first three conventions in Christchurch on July 18-19 at Horncastle Arena, Tauranga on July 25-26 at Baypark Arena, and Wellington on August 1-2 at Sky Stadium!

However, these will also be the first conventions of their kind. They will be both physical conventions and virtual conventions, with all of the guests beamed onto the main stages for their panels.

There will be no extras for these guests and the panels will only be streamed live on stage at each of the conventions. Some of these guests will be streaming into one, two, or all three of the conventions, so please read carefully.

Danielle Nicolet will be streaming into all three of the conventions. Nicolet is known for her roles such as Cecile Horton in The Flash, Maggie in Central Intelligence, Karui in Naruto, and Andrea in Key and Peele.

Virtually streaming in for the Christchurch and Wellington conventions is Anthony Rapp. He is known for his work as Paul Stamets in Star Trek Discovery, Mark Cohen in Rent, Tony in Dazed and Confused, and Priest in 13 Reasons Why.


Tom Cavanagh will be streaming into Christchurch only. He plays the many different versions of Harrison Wells in The Flash, Kingston Tanner in The Following, and Ed Stevens in Ed.

Another guest who will only be streaming into Christchurch only is Crystal Reed. Reed is known for her work as Allison Argent in Teen Wolf, Abby Arcane in Swamp Thing, and Sofia Falcone in Gotham.


Danielle Panabaker is making her Armageddon Expo debut virtually at the Tauranga show. She is known for her roles as Caitlin Snow in The Flash, Penny in Justified, Layla in Sky High, and Jenna in 2009’s Friday the 13th.

Virtually streaming into Tauranga Armageddon Expo is Mena Massoud. He is known as Aladdin in the live action remake of Disney’s Aladdin, Tarek Kassar in Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, and Kamal in Run This Town.


Virtually joining Wellington Armageddon Expo is Melanie Scrofano, who is known for her roles such as Wynonna Earp in Wynonna Earp, Gena in Saw VI, Emilie in Ready or Not, and Mrs. McMurray in Letterkenny.

Joining Wellington Armageddon Expo virtually is Carlos Valdes. He is known as Cisco Ramon in The Flash and Arrow.

These guests will be streaming live to the main stage of these conventions; they will not be available to see anywhere else. There will be no options for autographs or any other extras.

Tickets for these three conventions will be on sale Monday, June 22 at 9 a.m. NZ time.

The only tickets available to buy will be general admission (there will be no VIP tickets for these events).

For Christchurch, the general admission tickets available will be:
Adult/Student – $15
Child (5-12) – $10
Family Pass (2 Adults, 3 Children) – $45

The general admission tickets for available for Tauranga will be:
Adult/Student – $15
Child (5–12) – $10
Family pass (2 adults, up to 3 children) – $40

Wellington Single Day general admission tickets are as follows:
Adult/Student – $20
Child (5–12)/Senior – $12
Family pass (2 adults and 3 children) – $60

Wellington Two Day Tickets are as follows:
Adult/Student – $38
Child (5–12)/Senior – $22
