Rod Roddenberry and Adam Nimoy to Host a Watch Party for ‘Trek Nation’

It’s time to live long and prosper with the sons of Star Trek!

On Friday, May 29, Rod Roddenberry, the son of Gene Roddenberry, and Adam Nimoy, the son of Leonard Nimoy, will be hosting a watch party for the Star Trek documentary Trek Nation. The party starts at 6 p.m. PDT from the Roddenberry Facebook page.

The 2011 documentary follows Rod Roddenberry as he learns about what his father Gene Roddenberry did for the genre from Star Trek cast and crew, old friends, and other famous sci-fi directors. Stars like Sir Patrick Stewart, Wil Wheaton, Nichelle Nichols, and George Lucas reminisce on Gene and how he pieced together one of the most iconic sci-fi television shows in history.

Rod Roddenberry serves as a television producer for shows such as Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Picard. He’s also the current CEO of Roddenberry Entertainment. Adam Nimoy has directed numerous films and television shows including For the Love of Spock and Star Trek: The Next Generation.
