Netflix Drops Official Trailer for ‘Space Force’

Only 10 days out from its premiere, Netflix has released the official trailer for its upcoming comedy Space Force. Created by Greg Daniels (The Office, Parks and Recreation) and Steve Carell, Space Force follows General Mark R. Naird (Carell), who’s tasked with creating and leading Space Force, the sixth branch of the military.

The new trailer provides a more rounded glimpse at what we can expect from the show. It offers brief introductions to more of the characters, all of whom clearly struggle to take General Naird seriously. Naird, meanwhile, flaunts his exaggerated dedication to Space Force, hoping he and his team will be able to pull it off. The cast shows off their comedic chops, with Carell returning to the type of humor he’s best known for having. No doubt Space Force will be a hilarious and great addition to the Netflix collection.

Ben Schwartz, Tawny Newsome, Lisa Kudrow, Noah Emmerich, Owen Daniels, John Malkovich, Diana Silvers, Jane Lynch, Jimmy O. Yang, and the late Fred Willard will star alongside Carell.

Space Force premieres on Netflix on May 29.
