Creation Entertainment announced today that the Chicago and San Francisco Supernatural conventions are being postponed. The Chicago event, originally scheduled for June 3-5, 2020, has been rescheduled for June 4-6, 2021, and will remain at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. The June 26-28, 2020 San Francisco event does not yet have a rescheduled date. Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins have all been confirmed for the new Chicago dates with more guest announcements to come.

Attendees will be allowed to transfer their tickets to the new date. For those who wish to transfer, Creation will automatically resend the tickets with the updated dates. To receive a refund, you’ll need to email customer.service@creationent.com with the details of your purchase. The deadline to request a refund for the Chicago convention is May 13, 2020. Refunds will be processed after the deadline and could take up to eight weeks to go through. Refund options for the San Francisco convention will be announced after a new date is confirmed. Creation also advised that hotel reservations will need to be cancelled, and that an updated link for rebooking will be posted shortly.

As a show of thanks, Creation is offering gift packages to Gold, Silver, and Copper ticket holders who keep their seats for the rescheduled conventions. This currently applies for the Chicago event and is being retroactively applied for transferred tickets for the Nashville event. Fans attending the San Francisco event will also be offered this package once the new dates are announced.

For Gold, Silver, and Copper transferred tickets, fans will receive access to a special virtual experience with Supernatural actors, which will not be available to the general public. Additionally for Gold and Silver tickets, fans will be given a $200 gift certificate for any Creation Entertainment purchase, including photos, autographs, entry tickets, and merchandise. The certificate will be given at the convention and must be used that weekend. They will also receive a randomly selected signed photo of a Supernatural actor, with one in five receiving a Jared, Jensen, Jared and Jensen, or Misha photo. This will also be distributed at the conventions.

You can find more information on Creation’s website and be sure to follow their Twitter page for more announcements.
