BookCon Pushed To Spring 2021

Due to the recent and seemingly never-ending outbreak of COVID-19, several events have been postponed or outright cancelled. BookCon is the latest organization to cancel their 2020 event.

BookCon has announced that their next event will now take place in spring 2021. It was originally set for May 2020 and then eventually July 2020. In a statement sent out via e-mail, Event Director for BookExpo & BookCon Jenny Martin said:

“It is with heavy hearts that we announce that we will not be holding BookExpo, UnBound and BookCon in 2020. From our publishers, booksellers and sidelines exhibitors to our authors and librarians to our book loving fans, we know how many people are impacted by this decision and we continue to stand with you all to help bring the book community together and support one another.”

All tickets purchased for BookCon 2020 will be automatically refunded. You can find the full statement here.
