According to reports from Deadline, Carl Lumbly has been added to the highly-anticipated Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which will premiere on the exclusive streaming service in August this year. While his role has not been disclosed, there are several theories that he might be playing a character called Isaiah Bradley, who is another character donning the mantle of Captain America in the comics.

Lumbly is known from a recurring role as M’yrnn J’onzz on Supergirl and has also starred in projects such as Doctor Sleep and This Is Us.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is currently filming in Atlanta and will follow the events of Avengers: Endgame as Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) go on fighting the good fight after Steve Rogers’ retirement. The series also stars Daniel Brühl, Emily VanKamp, and Wyatt Russell.

Conny joined her first fandom at the tender age of three and somehow never stopped finding new things to obsess about and love. Her current love is everything Marvel, especially two characters who tend to be frozen at one point or the other. From Drag Race to Harry Potter or musical theatre, as long as it makes her smile (or cry), it’s probably her thing.
