Guest Announcements for Wellington Armageddon Expo 2020

The first five guests have been announced for Wellington’s Armageddon Expo!

Wellington Armageddon Expo will be happening at Sky Stadium in Wellington, New Zealand, during April 10-12, 2020. Armageddon is a general entertainment convention with celebrity guests from all genres and backgrounds coming to New Zealand for the convention. Armageddon Expo this year hits 25 years since it began, but it’s 25 years started with the Auckland Armageddon Expo. There have been no special events announced as of yet besides the Cocktail Party for the VIP ticket holders. 

Charles Soule, the comic author, is best known for DaredevilShe-HulkDeath of Wolverine, and various Star Wars comics. Also, he is the author of the acclaimed novels The Oracle Year and Anyone.

Second is Kevin Hearne, an author best known for the New York Times Best Seller The Iron Druid ChroniclesThe Seven Kennings Trilogy, and co-author of The Tales of Pell. Both will be available for autographs only at the Beyond Reality Media Comics stand and will sign one item for free.

 

The next announcement was Danielle Denicola, an international cosplayer and Twitch partner, and streamer. She will be available for autographs, photos, and panels throughout the weekend. Prices will be announced closer to the time.

Also, joining the convention is one of the world’s leading cosplayers, Jessica Nigri. She will be available for autographs, photos and panels throughout the con, with the costs being announced closer to the time.

Otaku/anime YouTuber Akidearest is the fifth announcement for Wellington Armageddon. Her content features anime reviews, skits and parodies, and Japanese culture vlogs. Streaming/YouTube guests will be available for autographs, photos, and panels throughout the weekend. They will sign one item for free, and all other prices will be announced closer to the time.

 

The ticket options available include a single-day and multi-day (two or three days) general admission tickets that only grants access to the convention. Premium Pass ($322 – Limited to 120 passes) includes entry to all three days of the convention, limited edition Premium Pass card, priority access to the event and the autograph and photo op queues, one ticket to the event cocktail party (held Saturday, April 11 in central Wellington), a souvenir lanyard, and special access to the VIP panel on Friday, April 10. Ultra Pass ($699 – Limited to 40 passes) includes all the premium pass extras (but with limited edition Ultra Pass card) as well as one autograph and one photo op with each of the events celebrity media guests (does not include Animation voice actors, YouTube, streaming and cosplay guests).
