The Padalecki’s are at it again! Jared has announced that he will run the Ascension Seton Austin Marathon in just two weeks time alongside his wife Genevieve, who is registered for the half marathon and confirmed her participation earlier this week. Jared’s inspiring Instagram post shared his reasons behind running in the amazing (I might be biased) city of Austin.
His post also says we can expect some marathon training updates (dare we hope for a montage?) as he prepares over the coming weeks. The running duo also ran in 2019 with Jared finishing the full marathon in 3 hours and 57 minutes and Genevieve finishing the half in just 1 hour and 37 minutes!
The Ascension Seton Austin Marathon will begin February 16 at 7 a.m. local time. The start line will be at 2nd Street & Congress Avenue and end at 9th Street & Congress Avenue. For locally based fans who want to cheer them on in person, the 2020 course map shows the full 26.2 mile course and Austin bands will be on location to provide runners and fans the best in Austin entertainment.
