Official Trailer Released for Taylor Swift’s ‘Miss Americana’

“It’s been a long time coming,” tweeted Taylor Swift this morning about the brand new trailer for her highly anticipated documentary Miss Americana. The trailer gives fans a little taste of what’s to come in the documentary, and it looks to be a true in-depth look into her world.

In it fans can hear Taylor speak about the harsh world of the music business, “Throughout my whole career label executives would just said ‘a nice girls don’t force their opinions on people. A nice girl just smiles and waves and says thank you.’ I became the person everyone wanted me to be.”

The documentary will follow her journey from that “person everyone wanted her to be” to finding her true self away from the spotlight to find her “happiness away from other people” and return to herself. It’s sure to be an emotional and empowering documentary. Check out the trailer below!

Miss Americana will release on Netflix January 31, and fans can set a reminder on the streaming platform now.
