‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’ Season 7 to Debut on Disney+ February 17
The long-awaited season 7 of Star Wars: The Clone Wars will air soon! The announcement of season seven came at San Diego Comic Con in 2018, where LucasFilms revealed that the series would be revived for another season on Disney+. The popular series aired on Cartoon Network in 2008 with five seasons. A sixth season aired exclusively on Netflix in 2014.
The Clone Wars is set between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith and follows Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi as they fight to defeat the evil Separatist forces along with Anakin’s apprentice, Ahsoka Tano. Disney purchased the Star Wars franchise in 2012, and ended the series in favor of Star Wars Rebels. Now, fans will hopefully get answers to unresolved plot points as the series returns for a 12 episode run on Disney+.
Season 7 will cover previously unresolved storylines such as Cad Bane and the resurrected Darth Maul. It will also feature the previously hinted-at Siege of Mandalore.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars season seven will premiere on Disney+ on Monday, February 17.
