Guest announcements have been flowing in this week for Denver Pop Culture Con in 2020! There are now eleven confirmed guests with plenty more on the way. The guests so far announced are Kevin Eastman, Joel Gomez, Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum, Michael Nesmith, Micky Dolenz, Wil Wheaton, Linda Larkin, Jodi Benson, Paige O’Hara, and Irene Bedard.

Kevin Eastman is best known for co-creating the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Currently, he is the editor and publisher of the magazine Heavy Metal. Joel Gomez started as a pencil assistant and rose through the ranks. He is best known for doing background work on Tomb Raider and Witchblade. What do comedy and Star Trek have in common? Wil Wheaton! Fans of Star Trek: Next Generation will know him as Wesley Crusher while those familiar with The Big Bang Theory may recognize the name as, well, Wil Wheaton, the unpredictable character of himself.

Anyone familiar with the television show Smallville will recognize actors Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum as Clark Kent and Lex Luther, respectively. Welling is also known for his time on season three of Lucifer as Marcus Pierce. Currently, Rosenbaum hosts the Inside of You podcast, where he invites his fellow celebrities to speak candidly about their flaws and everything else that makes all of us human.

It wouldn’t be a Pop Culture Con without a little something for everyone! Michael Nesmith and Micky Dolenz of the 1960’s rock band, The Monkees, will be attending as well. Along with being a touring band, they also gained such popularity that they starred in their own feature film.

Most recently announced were four iconic Disney voice actresses, Linda Larkin, Jodi Benson, Paige O’Hara, and Irene Bedard. Larkin starred in Disney’s Aladdin as Princess Jasmine, Benson voiced Princess Ariel in Disney’s The Little Mermaid, O’Hara took the lead as Belle in Beauty and the Beast, and Bedard as the voyager herself, Pocahontas from, you guessed it, Disney’s Pocahontas.

The convention will take place on July 3-5, 2020, at the Colorado Convention Center. Tickets are on sale now!
