For those of us in the United States, today marks one of the biggest holidays of the year: Thanksgiving. It’s a time to spend with families, eat a hefty amount of food, argue with your family over the football games, and share what you’re thankful for. Join us as we give thanks to our favorite trio, lovingly dubbed R2M: Rob Benedict, Richard Speight, Jr., and Matt Cohen.

The three are friends and part of the Supernatural universe, often doing panels together at Creation Entertainment’s Supernatural conventions. So, we’re here to say thanks to these three lovable, chaotic people this Thanksgiving with a list of things we’re thankful for below.

“RICH!”

There’s nothing quite like hearing Rob yell “RICH!” in a perfect moment of annoyance. I think Rich revels in it. It’s a great Rob catchphrase, and fans alike adore it.

“DickChat” and Rob’s Annoyance

If there’s one thing Rob hates the most, you can bet it’s Speight’s “DickChat” — in fact, there’s a whole video of Rob’s annoyance documented. Speight used to go around and take Snapchat videos at various Supernatural conventions, and it was one of his main goals to annoy his best friend. Mission accomplished.

Richard Speight, Jr.’s Impression of Rob

Richard Speight, Jr. and Rob Benedict are BFFs, that’s no secret. And, if you’ve been to a convention, you’ll probably have heard Rich’s impression of Rob. Since the two are so close, Rich has nearly perfected his impression — and always has everyone laughing, including Benedict himself.

Air Matt

It’s well known that if you attend a panel at a Supernatural convention, every panel is introduced with a song. For R2M, it’s “Three Is A Magic Number” from Schoolhouse Rock. The song ends with an epic high-flying kick from one Mr. Cohen, to which we’re surprised he hasn’t had knee injuries yet.

“Bobbo!”

Rich is famous among the fandom for yelling the phrase “Bobbo!” It’s really fun to watch a question aimed at Rich, and Rich turning to Rob to answer it, exclaiming the phrase. Trust us, once you hear it, you’ll never stop looking for it in every single panel video.

Matt’s Chaotic Karaoke

We mean chaotic in the best way. Since Matt has taken over, Karaoke is not slowing down. There’s dancing, selfies, sometimes props and costumes, and more. It’s the best part of Friday nights. Plus, seeing Matt singing songs like Taylor Swift is a highlight.

There’s so many other things we’re grateful for, but we couldn’t keep this list going forever (I mean, we could … but that’s a lot!) While we had fun in the post above, the truth is we’re really grateful for all three of these men: their hard work, their dedication to their fans, and their kind hearts which make all of us fans of them. Thank you to the three of them for allowing us to have fun articles like this and the ‘R2M and Beyond’ April Fools Series, and more and being good sports about it!
