My Chemical Romance Announces Reunion and Concert!

From this day, onwards, October 31 is not just Halloween. It is also the day that former emos, children of the early naughts and fans of alternative music alike, will now and forever celebrate this as the day one of the most iconic bands of the 2000s announced their long-awaited and never-believed reunion. My Chemical Romance broke the internet today by posting new images on their social media, creating an Instagram account and announcing a concert in Los Angeles on December 20, 2019.

The group disbanded in 2013, and Gerard Way, Mikey Way, Frank Iero and Ray Toro went their separate ways to pursue their own careers and other projects. Not many fans believed a reunion would ever happen. But the band has been active on their social media accounts, sparking a frenzy every time, only this time it was real.

Although there hasn’t been an announcement for new music, there have been posts with several newly designed logos and possible album covers — so fans might be in for a treat.

Tickets for the December show in L.A. go on sale on November 1 here.

Conny joined her first fandom at the tender age of three and somehow never stopped finding new things to obsess about and love. Her current love is everything Marvel, especially two characters who tend to be frozen at one point or the other. From Drag Race to Harry Potter or musical theatre, as long as it makes her smile (or cry), it’s probably her thing.
