The Avengers are assembling once again! No, not for another film unfortunately, but it is for the next best thing — charity.

The Russo brothers announced the AGBO Superhero Charity League on their social media accounts, where 14 Fantasy Football teams headed up by some of your favorites superheroes will be competing for a cut of $100,000 prize pool — put up by the Russo’s production company AGBO — to donate to the charity of their choice. The brothers drew the order of the draft via YouTube video from Venice, Italy, with Joe Russo nobly giving up his second place draft spot (and taking his friend, ESPN analyst Matthew Berry, down with him to 13th) to take the last place selection from Robert Downey Jr.

The participants in their draft order are:

  • Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch)
  • Karen Gillan (Nebula)
  • Anthony Mackie (Falcon)
  • Chris Pratt (Starlord)
  • Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool)
  • Michael B. Jordan (Killmonger)
  • Miles Teller (Mr. Fantastic)
  • Chris Evans (Captain America)
  • Tom Holland (Spider-Man)
  • Chris Hemsworth (Thor)
  • Paul Rudd (Ant-Man)
  • Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man)
  • Matthew Berry (ESPN Senior Fantasy Analyst; Endgame Cameo extraordinaire)
  • Joe Russo (Director of multiple Marvel films)

We’re told to expect updates via ESPN and social media for the standings throughout the season, and that reactions and some trash talk may be recorded and shared as the season progresses. Knowing some of the participants, the chance of that isn’t too far fetched of a possibility, so you’ll want to keep an eye out. Football fan or not, this group is likely to put on quite a show that will be entertaining nonetheless.

Whose team will you be rooting for? (I’m Team Cap in both the films and Fantasy Football alike.) Let us know in the comments and follow along with #AGBOSuperheroLeague and the Russo brothers on Twitter to keep up with the teams over the 2019 season!
