Peacock has released the official trailer for its upcoming live-action comedy series starring Anthony Mackie (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) called Twisted Metal.
The series is based on the classic PlayStation game series of the same name and is a half-hour action-comedy about motor-mouthed outsider John Doe (Anthony Mackie) who is offered a chance at a better life — only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland. With the help of Quiet (Stephanie Beatriz), he’ll face many dangers and destructions, including an agent of chaos in clown form, Sweet Tooth (AEW wrestler Samoa Joe), who drives an ice cream truck.
The live-action comedy series comes from Sony Pictures Television, PlayStation Productions, and Universal Television and stars Anthony Mackie, Stephanie Beatriz, Thomas Haden Church, with Will Arnett and Joe Seanoa. You can start streaming all ten half-hour episodes on July 27, exclusively on Peacock.
The trailer for Twisted Metal contains explicit material and may not be suitable for all audiences.
