New ‘Game of Thrones’ Art Books Take Fans Behind the Scenes

HBO has announced two brand new Game of Thrones art books which take fans behind the scenes of the award winning show. The Photography of Game of Thrones and The Art of Game of Thrones are part of HBO and Insight Editions’ 2019 publishing program, which includes also includes Game of Thrones: The Storyboards and Game of Thrones: The Costumes. 

Offering a look behind the scenes of the hit show, The Photography of Game of Thrones compiles iconic shots from principal unit photographer Helen Sloan and exceptional work from the unit photography team to once again invite fans into the world of Westeros. With writing by Michael Kogge, the book vividly brings to life the scope and nuance of Game of Thrones. Check out the slideshow below for a look inside.

The Art of Game of Thrones is the definitive art collection of the show and features pages filled with the visual chronicles of the meticulous work done by artists to bring Westeros to life for eight seasons. Co-written by Jody Revenson and Deborah Riley, The Art of Game of Thrones is presented in a deluxe, large format to fully display the stunning details and never before seen works of art. This collectible book is the visual legacy of Game of Thrones.

Both The Photography of Game of Thrones and The Art of Game of Thrones will be available in stores and online Nov 12.
